Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has appealed to the people of Manipur to maintain peace and harmony. In a tweet, Mr Rio said, he is deeply disturbed about the incident in Manipur and appealed to the people of Manipur for peace and harmony.<br />'' <br />''Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton held a telephonic conversation with Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh, and requested his intervention for the safety of Nagaland students, employees, patients and business persons staying or visiting Manipur.  Manipur Chief Minister said his office will coordinate with the Nagaland government to ensure that there is no communication gap leading to untoward incidents.
