One such organization is the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan which is tirelessly rendering its services to the people of Nagaland. AIR correspondent reports Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has taken a lead and is acting as catalytic agents in rendering humanitarian services to the people of Nagaland during the time of COVID- 19 pandemic.<br />''<br />''Trained under the National Disaster Response Force, a total of 200 Nehru Yuva Kendra volunteers are now voluntarily assisting the district administrations in all the 11 districts of Nagaland.<br />''<br />''In Kohima, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Volunteers are working round the clock with the Kohima District administration at the Relief Distribution Centre located at Kohima local ground. Since the setting up of the relief centre on March 30, around 7-8 Nehru Yuva volunteers are working in shift basis every day from 9 AM to 7 PM by packaging essential basic needs like rice, dal and salt. Besides, they are also distributing the relief packages through home deliveries to stranded students at various locations as well as catering to the administration and staff working at the relief centre.</span><br />
