Nadda to lay foundation stones of three medical colleges in J&K today

In Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda will today lay the foundation stones of three medical colleges. These colleges are to be set up at a cost of around 189 crore rupees each. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, these colleges will be set up at Rajouri in Jammu division, Anantnag in south Kashmir and Baramulla in the north Kashmir. <br/><br/>According to official sources, Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat has conveyed his gratitude to the Centre, for paying special attention to up-gradation of health facilities in the state and sanctioning five medical colleges. <br/><br/>Bhagat said that the approval for the remaining two colleges, to be set up in Kathua and Doda districts of Jammu region, is likely to be conveyed by the Centre as soon as the formalities are finalized.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, after reaching the winter capital city of Jammu around 11this morning, Mr. Nadda will directly fly to the border district of Rajouri. <br/><br/>In Rajouri after laying the foundation of GMC at Mera Jawahar Hagar,the minister is scheduled to address a public rally there. Besides J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti, local MP and MoS PMO Dr. Jatindra Singh shall also be accompanying the Union minister. <br/><br/>Later form Rajouri, the minister's shall leave for Kasmir Valley to take part in other foundation laying ceremonies scheduled there.
