Health Minister J P Nadda today reviewed the situation arising out of increased air pollution in Delhi and the preparations in the hospitals to deal with the patient load. <br/><br/>During the meeting held in New Delhi, Mr Nadda asked the Heads of the Central government hospitals to take all measures to deal with the patient load. <br/><br/>According to an official release, the hospitals have been directed to keep nebulizers and other related equipments in good condition to meet any exigency. <br/><br/>During the meeting, it was stated by the experts that the higher air pollution level may increase the burden of disease from stroke, heart, lung cancer and respiratory diseases. The release said, Health Ministry has been monitoring the situation continuously. <br/><br/>Earlier, the Health Ministry had issued an advisory for the citizens in which it has suggested to those having breathing difficulty to remain indoors and also try to keep children indoors as much as possible.
