Nadda accuses Opposition of doing vote-bank politics on CAA

<span style="color: #222222;">BJP Working President J P Nadda today hit out at the Opposition accusing it of doing vote-bank politics on the issue of Citizenship Amendment Act. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Nadda said, the Opposition parties are misleading the people that the new Act will take away the citizenship of the people. He said, the Act is related to granting citizenship and in no way does it take away the citizenship of any Indian. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Nadda was addressing a group of the minority community in New Delhi, who had migrated from Pakistan after facing religious persecution. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">They had come to BJP Headquarters to express their gratitude for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Party Chief Amit Shah for the decision to grant them Indian Citizenship. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Mr Nadda said, both Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had supported the idea of helping persecuted minorities in Pakistan. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the Act will provide a dignified life to such minority communities. Mr Nadda alleged that for Congress, the vote-bank politics comes first than the country.</span><br />''
