Seven-time champion Rafael Nadal will clash with David Ferrer in the all-Spanish final of the French Open Tennis tournament in Paris today. In the semi-finals, while Nadal got the better of Serbia's World Number One Novak Djokovic, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7, 9-7, Ferrer sailed past Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 6-1, 7-6, 6-2. If Nadal beats Ferrer today, he will become the first person to win a Grand Slam Singles title for the eighth time. This will be World Number Five, Ferrer's first Grand Slam final, in which he will take on the King of Clay Nadal, who has dominated the Roland Garros for almost a decade. Ferrer has met Nadal 23 times and has won just 4 games.Meanwhile, World Number One Serena Williams of the United States bagged her second French Open title after 11 years, when she defeated Russian Maria Sharapova, 6-4, 6-4 in the Women's Singles final yesterday. This was Serena's 16 Grand Slam Singles titles.Top-ranked American twins Bob and Mike Bryan of the US, yesterday, won their record 14th major Doubles title, by defeating the French team of Michael Llodra and Nicolas Mahut 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 in the Men's Doubles final.In the Women's Doubles, the top seeded Italian duo of Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci will take on the Russian team of Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova for the title today.
