Nadal beats Ferrer to win record eighth French Open title

Rafael Nadal wins his 8th Men's Singles Tittle of French Open Tennis Tournament. In the final in Paris, Nadal beat Spanish compatriot David Ferrer 6-3, 6-2, 6-3. With this, he became the first players to win 8 Singles Titles at the same Grand Slam Tournament. It also gave Nadal his 59th win out of 60 matches played in Paris.Russian duo Elina Vesnina and Ecaterina Makarova have lifted the Women's Doubles title. They defeated top seeded Italy's Sara Irrani and Roberta Vinchi by 7-5, 7-2.
