Nadal-led defending champions Indian Aces maintained their stranglehold on the championship with a comfortable 30-19 win over Federer's UAE Royals. Earlier, Indian Aces began the tie strongly as its mens doubles pair Rafael Nadal & Rohan Bopanna beat Roger Federer & Marin Cilic 6-4. It's mixed doubles pair of Bopanna and Sania Mirza also defeated Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic of UAE Royals 6-4. Leander Paes' Japan Warriors frittered away a good start to go down 21-24 against Singapore Slammers in an IPTL match in New Delhi yesterday. This was the Warriors' sixth loss in seven matches. However, Leander Paes teamed up with Philipp Kohlschreiber to defeat Marcelo Melo and Nick Kyrgios 6-4 in the men's doubles set.
