NADA hearing on Narsingh Yadav adjourned, decision today

Narsingh Yadav's participation in the Rio Olympics will be known today. The National Anti-Doping Agency's disciplinary panel adjourned its hearing on the dope scandal surrounding the wrestler today. The NADA Committee will pronounce its verdict today.Meanwhile, it is learnt, already under provisional suspension for failing a June 25 dope test, Narsingh has also flunked the second test done on both his 'A' and 'B' samples taken on July 5. Following the doping storm, Parveen Rana was named as Narsingh's replacement in the 74kg category. The move has been approved by United World Wrestling. Sports Minister Vijay Goel has stuck to his stand that the government will abide by international rules when it comes to deciding Narsingh's trip to Rio in the aftermath of the controversy.
