Home Minister Rajnath Singh today spoke to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal about the Nabha jailbreak incident in which a terrorist escaped along with five other prisoners. <br/><br/>Home Minister also sought a detailed report from the state government as early as possible. Mr Singh also asked the Chief Minister to consider urgent steps to enhance security in all jails in Punjab. During the telephonic conversation, Mr Badal apprised Home Minister about the incident and informed about the steps considered to nab the culprits. <br/><br/>Mr Singh said, if the Punjab government needs any assistance, Centre will provide it. Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi also spoke to DGP of Punjab and asked him to strengthen security in all jails in Punjab.
