Former BCCI President N. Srinivasan today tendered unconditional apology in Supreme Court for presiding over BCCI working committee meeting despite of the Court order asking him to stay away from Board affairs. His counsel Kapil Sibal told the Court that Srinivasan will not preside over the BCCI Annual General Meeting to be held on March 2. However, the Apex allowed Tamil Nadu Cricket Association to vote in AGM through Srinivasan as its representative. Srinivasan has used this position to chair BCCI meetings in recent times.Earlier, the apex court bench of Justices T.S. Thakur and Ibrahim Kalifulla said that he should not have presided over cricket board's working committee meeting on February eight as he was already disqualified from holding any post in the board and there is a conflict of interest by his presence during the board meeting.
