N Rengasamy sworn in as Chief Minister of Puducherry

In Puducherry, Mr. N. Rangasamy was sworn in as the Chief Minister by the Lt. Governor of Puducherry Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan today. He is the 20th Chief Minister of the Union Territory. However, the ministers were not sworn in today. AIR correspondent reports that Puducherry NR Congress President N Rangasamy was sworn in as the 20th Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Puducherry at a simple function held in Raj Nivas today afternoon.<br />'' <br />''Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan administered him the oath of office and secrecy. However his cabinet ministers were not sworn in today. This is the fourth time, Mr. Rangasamy is becoming the Chief Minister of the Union Territory.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Due to COVID-19 pandemic, limited number of guests were alone invited for the swearing in ceremony. It was initially planned to be held at Gandhi Square, near the Mahatma Gandhi Statue in the Beach Road, however the venue was shifted to Raj Niwas.</span><br />
