N R Narayana Murthy will step down as executive chairman of IT giant Infosys. Vishal Sikka, a former SAP board member, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company.Murthy who was brought back from retirement in June last year to head the firm and put it back on a high-growth trajectory will step down from the 14th of this month.
