N Korea to release U.S. detainee Jun Young Su

North Korea is to release a U.S. detainee who was arrested in November. The official KCNA news agency on Friday said the government has decided to set the US citizen Eddie Jun Young Su free from the humanitarian stand after visiting U.S. human rights envoy Robert King expressed regret about the case. Earlier, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and U.S. evangelist Franklin Graham who visited North Korea repeatedly asked Pyongyang to leniently pardon Jun. Jun has been under investigation after he was arrested in November on charges of anti-North Korea activities.
