Civil Nuclear cooperation will be high on the agenda of talks between the visiting South Korean President and Indian Leaders. This is likely to pave the way for signing of civil-nuclear deal. Mr Lee Mayung-Bak is arriving in New Delhi on Sunday on a four day visit to India.<br/><br/>During his stay in New Delhi he will hold delegation level talks with the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Monday. The two sides are likely to sign agreements in the areas of information technology and peaceful usage of space technology after the talks. The South Korean President will hold discussions with the External Affairs Minister Mr S M Krishna and exchange views with the captains of industry. He will call on the President, Vice-President. The Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Mrs Sushma Swaraj and UPA Chairperson Mrs Sonia Gandhi will also exchange views with them on mutual and international issues of common concern.<br/><br/>According to External Affairs Ministry spokesman, the comprehensive economic partnership agreement has enhanced the partnership in this are as bi-lateral trade which was at 15.5 million US dollars has grown by 15 per cent this year.<br/><br/>Meanwhile India has granted a crucial environment clearance to a Korean steel major ahead of his visit to India. Posco's 12 billion dollar steel project is the single largest FDI in the country and the clearance was granted on 29th of last month.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that South Korea supported India during its discussions with the IAEA and NSG to seek a clean waiver for India for civil nuclear commerce.<br/><br/>South Korean President Lee Mayung-Bak will be the Chief guest in this Years Republic Day celeberations.
