Mystery continues to surround the landing of the missing helicopter carrying Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu as conflicting reports continue come in. Early reports said, the helicopter carrying the Chief Minister and six others persons has made a safe landing in neighbouring Bhutan and all those aboard the chopper are safe. The chopper on way to Itanagar, went missing after it took off from Tawang helipad at 9.56 am today. However later in the evening, DIG Robin Hibu told AIR that till there is no official confirmation of the chopper landing in Bhutan . He also said, they have not been able to make any contact with the Chief Minister or the chopper pilots so far. Sources also said that air force choppers have also been pressed into service and a massive rescue operation is on. Prime Minster Dr. Manmohan Singh spoke to Arunachal Governor J J Singh and enquired about the missing copter carrying Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu.
