Government of India's citizen engagement MyGov is organizing a Town Hall Programme on Saturday on the occasion of its 2nd anniversary. <br/><br/>Speaking to media in New Delhi today, CEO of MyGov Gaurav Dwivedi said, the day long event will feature multiple panel discussions and the concluding session will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<br/><br/>He said, on the occasion, the Prime Minister also will launch new MyGov initiatives and distribute prizes to winners of MyGov contests. Mr Dwivedi said, the events are being organized in keeping with the Do, Discuss and Disseminate spirit of MyGov.<br/><br/>This will be a first Town Hall by an Indian Prime Minister. Town Hall as a concept is commonly used in the West among politicians as well as CEOs to interact with people directly. <br/><br/>The event will see participation from various stakeholders including Cabinet ministers, senior officers from Ministries and Departments, government organisations, representatives from media, IT and social media industry and citizens who have participated in the MyGov initiatives. MyGov has 35.2 lakh registered members.
