Supreme Court has agreed to hear a final appeal against the house arrest of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi. Her current sentence ends on November 13, just days after the country's first election in 20 years.Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy won a landslide victory in the 1990 election, but was never allowed to take office. She has spent most of the past two decades in some form of detention.
