Myanmar has brushed off a one-month unilateral ceasefire announced by a Rohingya militant group in Rakhine. Government spokesman, Zaw Htay said in a tweet that Myanmar have no policy to negotiate with terrorists and it would not negotiate with them. <br/><br/>The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (Arsa) announced a truce yesterday, and urged Myanmar's army to reciprocate. About 2.94 lakh Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh since violence erupted in Rakhine state last month. United Nations officials said the fighting is increasingly affecting Rohingya civilians. <br/><br/>The deteriorating security situation is hampering the work of the UN and non-governmental organizations. Meanwhile, authorities in Bangladesh say they are struggling to cope with the influx of Rohingya.
