Reports are coming out of Myanmar say the military authorities have signed an order authorising the release of pro democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi. The Nobel Laureate's House arrest term expires tomorrow, who has been detained for 15 of the past 21 years. However, Suu Kyi is not expected to accept a conditional release if it excludes her political activity. Officials in the military-ruled country said today, Myanmar's democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi is on the verge of being freed from house arrest.Security was stepped up in Yangon, where Suu Kyi remained confined to her lakeside mansion, with police vehicles patrolling the city.
