<span style="color: #222222;">Bihar Social Welfare Minister Manju Verma today tendered resignation from her post in the wake of allegation levelled against her husband Chandrashekhar Verma in the alleged sexual exploitation of 34 minor girls at Muzaffarpur shelter home. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ms Verma submitted resignation after meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Kumar forwarded her resignation to Governor Satya Pal Malik. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier CBI had investigated call detail record ( CDR) of Brajesh Thakur who is main accused of alleged sexual exploitation at shelter home. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The agency found the husband of Manju Verma was in regular contact with Thakur. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">There was 17 times conversation between husband of Ms Verma and Brajesh Thakur from January to May this year. It has also been revealed that both had travelled to Delhi many times. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CBI is investigating documents of travel agency. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, CBI has interrogated driver of main accused Brajesh Thakur. The driver disclosed the husband of Manju Verma was a frequent visitor of Muzaffarpur shelter home.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Opposition parties RJD Congress and left parties have welcomed the resignation of Social Welfare Minister Manju Verma.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ten persons have so far been arrested including main accused Brajesh Thakur. All accused were today produced before Muzaffarpur POCSO court.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the culprit in the case will not be spared at any cost.</span><br />''
