In Kerala, Muslims across the state have started fasting and prayers with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan on Monday. They have assembled in mosques in all the districts for morning prayers and the start of the spiritual season of fasting. Muslim religious leaders urged the faithful to re-dedicate themselves to the almighty and the well-being of the less privileged sections of society. Ramzan festival will be celebrated on 30th of this month.
