A 12-member delegation of Muslim MPs today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with a demand for immediate implementation of the Ranganath Mishra Commission report on religious and linguistic minorities. The Parliamentarians, led by Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan, handed over a list of 14 demands which ranged from initiating Haj reforms, reservation to Muslims, recognition of Islamic banking system and setting up a of separate Parliamentary Committee on minority affairs.<br/>Later, Minister of State for Railways E Ahamed, who was part of the delegation, said, the Prime Minister heard and discussed various issues and assured to look at possible steps that can be taken.<br/>
