Former Pakistani military ruler Pervez Musharraf has announced entry into politics. Launching his new All Pakistan Muslim League Party in London this evening, he said he wants to start on a clean slate. He said he has learnt from his mistakes, will not repeat those. Musharraf said his party will strive for friendly ties with India, but after peaceful resolution of all issues. He launched his party with an intention to return to his country before 2013 elections.Musharraf, 67, has been living in London since he stepped down in 2008.
