Pakistan's Special Court has ruled that high treason case against former President Pervez Musharraf will be heard under the country's penal code. The three-member court headed by Justice Faisal Arab announced judgment in Islamabad today.

The court ruled that the criminal procedure code is applied to the case and the court is empowered to issue arrest warrant of Musharraf, if necessary.
