Former President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf has admitted that Pakistani security forces trained militant groups to fight in Kashmir. In an interview with a German magazine DER SPIEGEL, he said the Pakistani government turned a blind eye because it wanted India to enter talks on Kashmir. India has always alleged that the Pakistan state actively trained militants in the 1990's.
