Musa Ibrahim reaches peak of Mt Everest

Musa Ibrahim has become the first Bangladeshi to successfully reach the peak of Mount Everest. Musa’s historic achievement was confirmed to All India Radio by Iswari Paudel who is the managing director of the company from Nepal which managed the trekking expedition.<br/><br/>According to the email received by AIR Correspondent, the company’s base camp manager Mr. Bhola Nath Paudel had confirmed that Musa scaled the summit with along with 2 Sherpas. The company also claimed that a total of 26 people which included six British, one American, three Montenegro, one Serbian, along with Musa Ibrahim of Bangladesh scaled the summit in the last few days with 14 Sherpas. <br/><br/>Musa Ibrahim who works as journalist with the leading English Newspaper of Bangladesh, the Daily Star is expected to reach the Advance Base Camp by today evening. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has hailed the historic achievement of Musa Ibrahim. <br/><br/>In a message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said Musa Ibrahim has glorified the image of Bangladesh in the world by hoisting the country’s flag on the world’s highest peak.
