A lower court in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district has rejected application of arrested ruling Bahujan Samaj Party controversial MP Dhananjay Singh, seeking permission to attend the ongoing Parliament Session.Mr. Singh was arrested on Sunday from Lucknow in connection with a double murder case, lodged against him last year in his constituency Jaunpur under the Kerakat police area.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Singh was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate on Monday and the court remanded the MP in 14 days' judicial custody. The Court has fixed December 23 as the next date of hearing into the case.Dhananjay Singh was suspended from the BSP on September 24 on charges of anti-party activities, but his suspension was revoked a few days before the Winter Session of UP Assembly in November.
