Mumbai's COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 10-month low, says Iqbal Singh Chahal

<span style="color: #222222;">The Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner, Iqbal Singh Chahal has said that the COVID-19 positivity rate has fallen to just 5 per cent, the lowest in the past 10 months since the outbreak of the pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' He said the Covid-19 test positivity rate for the past 10 days including today in Mumbai looks promising. Mr. Chahal informed AIR that people should not be complacent and not lower their guard.<br />'' <br />''He said when the pandemic hit Maharashtra in full force in March, the positivity rate was as high as 35-36 per cent. Today, out of the total 16,553 RT-PCR and Antigen tests, 881 or 5 per cent have tested positive.</span>
