According to an official statement, the airport played host to approximately 1.1 million passengers over 11,400 plus flights across domestic and international destinations in this past month.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">With an increased flight capacity; especially on weekends, a majority of passengers were seen travelling to Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad in the domestic sector and Doha, Newark and Dubai in the international sector. Considering that a negative RT-PCR is still mandatory, over 30 counters of testing facilities have been established at Terminal 2 for international and domestic passengers.
