Mumbai'Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor work under progress: Minister of Railways in Parliament

<span style="color: #222222;">The work on first High-Speed Rail Corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is under progress with technical and financial assistance from the Government of Japan.  <br />''<br />''In a written reply in Lok Sabha Minister of Railways, Communication and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said that all statutory clearance relating to wildlife, Coastal Regulation Zone(CRZ) and forest clearance have been obtained.<br />''           <br />''The Minister further said that out of total 352-kilometer length of the project located in Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, civil works in 352-kilometer length have been started in different phases from December 2020, onwards.<br />''         <br />''He said the anticipated increase in cost and time can be fully ascertained only after completion of land acquisition, finalization of all contracts and associated timelines.</span><br />
