In Maharashtra, Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and other coastal districts are likely to receive 'heavy to very heavy' rainfall over the next 24-48 hours. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg as well as Pune in western Maharashtra. A yellow has also been issued for Kolhapur, Satara, Aurangabad and Jalna districts.
