Life has started returning to normalcy with water on railway tracks receding and suburban trains service on all three lines, Central, Harbour and Western resuming. Since yesterday evening, thousands of people stranded at various stations across the metropolis as train services were hampered.<br />''<br />''As a result, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) converted various corporation schools near the stations into temporary shelters and provided food and water to them. The commuters have started returning home since morning. In an unfortunate incident, two on-duty BMC staffers died yesterday after falling in rainwater during heavy downpour at Goregaon in western suburbs.<br />''<br />''The incident took place at Siddharth Nagar in the evening. The deceased, identified as Vijayendra Sardar Bagdi (36) and Jagdish Parmar (54), were employees of P/S Ward of the BMC, he said. Both the employees, who apparently drowned, were rushed to a hospital, where they were declared dead.<br />
