A team of Mumbai Police will go to the US to gather more information from the FBI about the US terror suspect David Headley's alleged role in plotting terror attacks in Mumbai including the 26/11 strikes . Police said in Mumbai that as they are conducting a parallel inquiry into the Headley's terror activities, it is inevitable for them to fly to the US to get substantial evidence about Headley's role in the 26/11 terror attacks. National Investigation Agency had registered a case against Headley and his accomplice Tahawwur Husain Rana, a Canadian of Pakistani origin. National Investigation Agency is probing their role in various terror strikes in the country, including 26/11 Mumbai attack.<br/>Meanwhile, Kerala Police is looking into reports that Kochi was one of the places visited by American terror suspect David Headley before the Mumbai carnage. Director General of Police Jacob Punnoose said the state police is verifying reports including those in the media that Headley had stayed in a hotel in the city. The State police is also verifying documents at the airport on arrival of foreign passengers by domestic and international flights for the last three years.<br/>
