Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil today admitted that Mumbai Police were still clueless about the murderer of veteran crime journalist Jyotirmoy Dey. Addressing reporters in Mumbai today, Mr. Patil said that they were very smart criminals who did not leave any clues. Mr. Patil, however, reposed faith in the abilities of Mumbai police and said the investigation in Dey's murder was progressing in the right direction, although it had become very tough. J Dey, Editor (special investigations) with city tabloid Mid Day was gunned down by four assailants last Saturday.
