Karan Johar, director and co-producer of Shahrukh-Kajol starrer 'My Name is Khan' on Tuesday met Mumbai Police Commissioner D Sivanandan to discuss the security issues ahead of the movie's release on February 12.<br/><br/>Karan along with a group of exhibitors and distributors met the Commissioner at his Mumbai office to seek protection for the audience and theatres screening the movie amidst threats from the Shiv Sena to stall the release of his latest film.<br/><br/>Coming out of the meeting, a visibly satisfied Karan told the reporters that the Police Commissioner has assured them that security would be provided at all the cinemas where the movie is due for release.<br/><br/>Johar said the movie will be released on the scheduled date and advance bookings are open nationwide. Shiv Sena had threatened to disrupt the screening of 'My Name is Khan' after its lead actor Shah Rukh Khan voiced his displeasure over the exclusion of Pakistani players from the third season of Indian Premier League (IPL).<br/>
