Today is the first anniversary of 26/11Mumbai Terror attack. It has been one year since the city witnessed one of the deadliest terror attacks in which 173 people were killed and more than 300 were injured. Out of the ten terrorists who came by sea, nine were killed by the security agencies in a battle raging 60 hours and a Mumbai court is hearing a case against the lone surviving terrorist, Ajmal Kasab. Many functions including a security parade by Mumbai Police will be held today to mark occasion Addressing a Press Conference in Washington , Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh assured the countrymen that his government would not rest till the perpetrators of the Mumbai carnage and their supporters are brought to justice. <br/><br/>Congress President Sonia Gandhi said the country has learnt many hard lessons from Mumbai terror strikes and emerged stronger. , Congress President said that the terrorists have failed their in their attempt to divide the nation. Paying homage to those who lost their lives in the attack, Mrs Gandhi expressed empathy with the relatives of the deceased.<br/><br/> The Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr Shahshi Thraroor said cooperation from Pakistan was lacking in bringing the perpetrators of the terror attack to justice. Replying to a question in the Lok Sabha, the Minister of State for External Affairs, said, Mr Shahshi Thraroor said that terrorism is a principal preoccupation in most of India's international contacts.<br/><br/>The government in the meantime said, it will provide identity cards to all fishermen in the country. Talking to reporters outside parliament, Minister of State for Home Ajay Maken said, I-cards will be given to fishermen in 3,031 villages in the eight coastal areas in the country. He was responding to queries about the government's preparedness following the 26/11 terror strikes in Mumbai.<br/><br/> In related development, a Pakistani anti-terrorism court formally charged seven suspects, including LeT commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, for planning and helping execute the Mumbai attacks
