Mumbai’s sessions court on Wednesday extended judicial custody of Pune-based stud farm owner Hasan Ali Khan till 13th of this month. Hasan Ali’s lawyer, I P Bagadia informed that since he could not attend today’s hearing, the court decided to adjourn the matter till Friday, when Hasan Ali’s bail application will be heard.53-year-old Hasan Ali was arrested by Enforcement Directorate on charges of stashing huge amounts of black money in banks abroad. He is also facing 70,000-crore rupees tax demand notice from the Income-Tax department. Last week, the charge sheet filed by ED accused Khan of acting as a front Man for International arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi. It stated that Khan’s UBS account was used to park Khashoggi’s money. Khan is currently lodged in the high-security Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.
