Mumbai Cook: A Melbourne suburb named after Mumbai

The second most populous city of Australia, Melbourne has a Suburb named after the city of Mumbai and is called 'Mumbai Cook'. 'The Age' has reported that in the newest immigrant suburbs of Melbourne, out of 1500 plus homes every third or fourth home is of an Indian. <br/>A survey of about 3500 home buyers shows 10 per cent of home buyers in growth-area suburbs were born in India whereas Chinese and British were the next largest group of buyers at 3 per cent.<br/>The survey said over 2000 immigrants arrive every week in Australia.<br/>
