The budget session of Maharashtra legislature began today in Mumbai amid a lot of uproar and slogan-shouting from both the ruling and opposition sides. Maharashtra Governor Bhagatsingh Koshyari had to stop his speech due to loud slogans shouting against him and uproar by ruling MVA members for his alleged remarks about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj recently. He left his speech midway and left the house. Leader of opposition in legislative assembly Devendra Fadnavis moved adjournment notice and demanded a discussion on the issue raised by him. He said why the government has not sought resignation from NCP minister Nawab Malik who is arrested on the charges of his connection with Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim.
