Mumbai achieves milestone of administering two crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine

Mumbai today achieved the milestone of administering two crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine to its citizens. In a statement, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai informed that this includes vaccination held at all government and private centres. Out of these two crore doses, a little over 1.5 crore are first doses, 90.92 lakh are second doses and 3.29 lakh are precaution doses.<br />''<br />''The vaccination drive is being implemented under the able supervision of Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal and Additional Commissioner Suresh Kakani. The city had reached the landmark one crore vaccine figure on 4th September last year. The civic body has once again urged citizens to get themselves vaccinated, especially those who are due for the second dose. <br />''<br />''<br />
