The Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav has said that the decision to expel Amar Singh and sitting MP Jaya Prada from party was taken by the party's Parliamentary Board. It was not his individual decision.<br/><br/>Replying to a question he said that Jaya Bachchan is still with the party and he respects her very much. Reacting on the Amar Singh issue, Mr Yadav said that no one is perfect and I will not comment anything on Mr. Amar Singh, with whom I had relationship for the last 14 years.<br/><br/>Talking to media persons on the sidelines of a function in Lucknow he said that in his political career he had seen several ups and downs and was never affected by them.<br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the Samajwadi Party showed its unity at function late last evening where most of the party MP’s, MLA’s and MLC’s were present though the four suspended MLAs did not join it.<br/><br/>It was first function organised after expulsion of Amar Singh.
