<span style="color: #222222;">A multimedia exhibition as part of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was organized in the India Pavilion at the Frankfurt International Book Fair. The life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi were celebrated by performing Dandi Yatra today. <br />”<br />”According to an official release, participants in a huge number took part in the Yatra which was made vibrant by young students and their enthusiasm.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;"><br />” Speaking at the event, the Consul General of India in Frankfurt, Pratibha Parkar said the whole world is celebrating the 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi to re-emphasize his message of truth and non-violence. She also gave away prizes to the students who participated in the event which culminated with a pledge by participants to follow the path shown by Bapu to make the world a better place.</span><br />” <br />” <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting participates in Frankfurt Book Fair every year but this is the first time that a multimedia exhibition has been organized. The Pavilion is the centre of attraction this year as people get relevant information on Mahatma Gandhi and other eminent leaders in a short span with the touch of a screen.&nbsp;</span><br />” <br />” <span style="color: #222222;">The Frankfurt International Book Fair is the largest and most important book fair which is held annually in the month of October.
