Mulayam Singh Yadav vows to bring most backward communities under SC

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today promised that his party will fight to bring most backward communities under SC category. Addressing backward class workers conference in Lucknow, he said that without capturing power of Delhi, development of state could not take place. <br/><br/>Without taking name of BSP chief Mayawati, Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav also criticized her and alleged that Ms. Mayawati works for upper class of society only.<br/><br/>He said if Dr Ram Manohar Lohia were alive today, he would have been happy that Samajwadi party is working for upliftment of backward and oppressed sections of the society. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, BJP today criticized backward class conference of Samajwadi party. The party aaccused Samajwadi party of making political conspiracy and misguiding the sections of society, the BJP social justice forum, in a press statement, alleged in Lucknow today that both SP and BSP had opposed the measures for upliftment of most backward and most dalit communities of Uttar Pradesh in past . BJP's Forum general secretary Ramesh Chandra Lodhi said that Samajwadi party chief raising such issues is just a stunt and to get mileage in next assembly elections due in 2017.
