Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav is all set to be the New Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

He was formally elected leader of the legislature party in a meeting of party's parliamentary board.

He will meet governor later to stake claim for formation of new government in the state.

Meeting of parliamentary board of the party was held today at Lucknow. The Samajwadi party which stormed to power in the state has won 224 seats .
