Mulayam Singh Yadav expels Ramgopal Yadav from SP

?In Uttar Pradesh, in a very dramatic turn of event during the day, national general secretary and spokesperson Ramgopal Yadav has been expelled from the Samajwadi Party by its chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. Announcing the decision, state party head Shivpal Singh Yadav levelled serious charges of corruption, manipulation and sabotaging the Party on Ramgopal Yadav.

He said that Prof Ramgopal Yadav has connived with BJP to harm the party. Prior to it, CM Akhilesh Yadav had sacked four of his cabinet ministers including Shivpal Yadav. Akhilesh has also ruled out any possibility of deserting the Samajwadi Party saying he is the true heir to take on the legacy of his father Mulayam Singh Yadav. CM categorically stated Amar Singh to be a person who is involved in anti party activities and said he will not tolerate any sympathizer of Amar Singh.

"It was a high voltage drama which kept unfolding the entire day in Lucknow and culminated with hitherto unthinkable point- the expulsion of party think tank Prof Ramgopal Yadav. The tone of Shivpal Yadav while announcing the ouster of Ramgopal was so intense and scornful that one could easily guess that it was not a sudden outburst but venting out the angst which was definitely brewing among the party seniors for quite long time.

On the other hand pledging his allegiance to Mulayam Singh Yadav, CM Akhilesh Yadav said that he will attend the meeting of all party leaders convened by his father and party chief tomorrow. Political experts say that some more dramatic events may take place during next 24 hours but they also opine that the ruling party has been badly bruised by its own people decimating its chances to regain the power in next assembly elections.
