BJP today said Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav by his veiled criticism of Uttar Pradesh government, has admitted that Akhilesh Yadav is a failed Chief Minister. The party questioned whether the SP Chief will take action against the party leaders as he and state Minister Shivpal Yadav have said that they are involved in land grabbing and making illegal money. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party Secretary Sidharth Nath Singh said, SP President's repeated attacks against the Chief Minister show that the ruling party in the state has accepted its defeat even before the upcoming assembly elections. Mr. Singh asked Mulaym Singh to tender an apology to the people of UP as they had voted to Samajwadi Party in 2012 in his name, but he handed over the baton to Akhilesh Yadav. <br/><br/>Mulayam Singh yesterday backed his brother Shivpal and took on the state government saying that several Cabinet ministers are involved in making illegal money. His remarks came days after Shivpal threatened to resign accusing the the ruling establishment of corruption.
