Mulayam accepts Amar Singh’s resignation

The President of Samajwadi Party Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav accepted resignation of Amar Singh from party posts on Sunday. Spokes person of the party in Uttar Pradesh Mr. Rajendra Chaudhary told Air correspondent on Sunday afternoon that after making consultations with senior party leaders Mr. Yadav announced his decision.<br/><br/>Mr. Amar Singh had resigned from all party posts including as national general secretary, member of parliamentary party and spokes person of the party on 6th of this month sending a fax from Dubai. Recently Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav had announced in Kolkata that he will not accept the resignation and matter will be sorted out after MrAmar Singh coming back. Mr. Singh came to India and a campaigned at Mumbai for party candidate for Maharastra Assembly by election. He did not meet the party leadership.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that political crisis in the Samajwadi Party had further deepen after statements of party’s Rajya Sabha leader Ram Gopal Yadav against Amar Singh.
