Besides, another congress MLA Mr M M Dango was also denied berth due to his tainted background.
KHNAM party President and its lone MLA Mr Paul Lyngdoh expressed his resentment over non inclusion of KHNAM in the MUA ministry and said congress had forged similar agreement with UDP and KHNAM before forming the MUA government and not figuring KHNAM in the ministry after the change in leadership the MUA is by passing agreements of the alliance partner. This is going to be the fourth consecutive government within a span of two years after the eight elections to state legislative assembly. However it remains to be seen how far another Dr Mukul Sangma after Dr Lapang has been able to run a successful government without further surgical operation of the state’s political health.
