Uruguay's former guerrilla leader Jose Mujica has been sworn in as the country's new President. Mr. Mujica, who was elected in November, said his priorities would be to improve education, guarantee energy supplies and maintain security. He also expressed support for the regional economic bloc, Mercosur. Several Latin American leaders attended the inauguration in the capital Montevideo. U.S Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton also attended the inauguration.Mr. Mujica, 74, is a senator from the governing Broad Front coalition.
